NEW STAYCATION RETREAT DAYS

If you've ever wanted to go away on retreat but can't find the time or the money these day staycations are the perfect solution

Every Saturday in August I will be offering 6hr Staycation Retreats
 4-10pm


     These beautiful sessions will begin with a hot yoga sequence followed by a flow asana practice to loosen and limber the body.


    There will then be a strengthening practise based around the principles of Pilates followed by a gentle Tai Chi and Pranayama class. 
 
    We'll then take a short break for refreshments (not supplied).

    Afterwards we will experience the amazing pulsing foam rollers that pulse away stress and tension from the whole body. Vibrating foam rollers are equivalent to having a full body massage and are suitable for all.

    There will then be a restorative candlelight yin class succeeded by a deep meditation under the stars (weather permitting)

3 STEP SELF MEDITATION

THIS MEDITATION CAN BE DONE ANY WHERE AT ANY TIME FOR 10 SECONDS, 10 MINUTES OR LONGER

USE IT TO AVOID OTHERS BRINGING NEGATIVITY INTO YOUR DAY, OR WHEN YOU JUST HAVE SOME TIME ALONE

STAGE 1
BRING YOUR AWARENESS TO SELF & REPEAT A POSITIVE AFFIRMATION IN THE PRESENT TENSE. IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE OR ONE DOESNT COME EASILY SAY MENTALLY "I AM HAPPY I AM WELL"
REMEMBER THE 3 P's PERSONAL, POSITIVE, PRESENT TENSE.

STAGE 2 
RELAX THE MANTRA AND BECOME AWARE OF YOUR BREATH. JUST TRY TO NOTICE YOUR BREATH WITH OUT INFLUENCING IT. AS YOUR AWARENESS SETTLES THE BREATHING USUALLY DEEPENS AND SLOWS BY ITS SELF.
FOR LONGER MEDITATIONS, ONCE OBSERVATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE, YOU CAN SLOWLY ACTION THE BREATH TO BE COME DEEPER AND SLOWER.

STAGE 3
RELAXING THE BREATHING PRACTISE, FOCUS ON THE PHYSICAL BODY. EITHER RUN A BODY SCAN FROM TOES TO CROWN OR FOCUS ON A PARTICULAR AREA OF NEED & SEND THE BREATH THERE.
